Michael’s program will concentrate on the challenges of
shooting on location with children; the dynamic of it; the
advantages of it and the rewards.
He will be going over how to shoot in this manner, without
flash, without tripod, just you and your camera.
He rarely uses reflectors, as well.
It is a very pure form of
shooting, back to the basics but with a lot of knowledge of how
light plays and how it works on a location basis. It is shooting
with intent which differs quite a bit from the “photojournalistic”
that is the rave. It is
shooting the spontaneity of childhood with freedom and at the same
time as being guided by a deep knowledge of the photographic craft.
Michael will also discuss his approach to marketing this
style of photography and also the advantages of selling in the home
by laptop only.
