Sunshine Sommers-Treon

PPA Master Sunshine Sommers-Treon  will be speaking on her award winning  work with seniors and how she uses lighting, posing, locations, and after-shoot effects to achieve her noted style. With her will be her husband Craig Treon who brings 30 years of sales and marketing experience to the studio to form an award winning combination that keeps this Ohio based studio Rocking . With their strategies they have turned up their averages up by 75% and have seniors on waiting lists to be a model/rock star for a day. Sunshine has overcome eye cancer and her son’s disabilities and found a way to learn to live life to its fullest and display a passion in her day to day work and with her interactions with her seniors that have kept this studio thriving and growing during her cities economic downfall while other businesses did not fare as well. She will share her passion, ideas and techniques she has learned over her 25 years in business with the hopes that you too will also be able to produce a personal style that is a passionate reflection of you are and help further your success.

Sunshine was one of the first two PPA members to be awarded the Masters in under three years and has several PPA Loan and,  Showcase prints, ASP Loan prints as well as numerous other awards including Ohio Top 10 several  times, Photographer of the year at PPSO , out of state Photographer of the Year at IPPG and KPPA, has had her work at Epcot Center and displayed for the Korean PPA.  She has been featured in several magazines including Rangefinder, Professional  Photographer, Roadwheeler, Texas Bride, Huston Bride, PPSO Magazine, along with several others. Her work has graced many covers and is displayed and has been published globally. She is a Kodak Gallery Award winner and recently was awarded the Professional Photographer of the Year Award at Imaging USA in Nashville.

She  has operated  a home-based studio in Middletown, Ohio since  1983 at the age of 18.  She operates the studio with her husband Craig, is the mother of five, a grandmother and is owned by two very lovable and LARGE studio mascots, Sadie and Tytus, the world’s coolest English Mastiffs.
